Have you got a carry cot part or try him in the seat laid flat?

No not got carry cot he's still to small for the seat part. It's just so frustrating.

I don't like to be the voice of doom but your baby shouldn't be spending long periods scrunched up in a car seat. Obviously if you need to use the car then he should be in a car seat but in the pram he should be lying flat at this age. Could you buy a carrycot? Or a cheap stroller that is suitable from birth?

My Lo began to hate his pram around the 10 week mark too. He would cry relentlessly and I found myself only going out when he napped which was difficult as I had 2 dogs to walk and four adults to shop and feed each day. I bought a baby carrier and used that for shorter distances until he became too heavy to carry. I also bought a V-Tech tambourine toy which he would stare at lighting up and listen to the music. This kept him from crying for around 5-10 minutes at most. It sometimes got so bad I'd put the shopping in the pram and carry him home.

He is now 1 year old and is awesome in his buggy. He also loves being pushed about in his trike. Something changed in him around 8-9months and he didn't seem to mind it. Whether it was because I couldn't carry him in the babycarrier anymore or take him out of pram and carry him for a distance and so he just had to get used to but I don't know but hope is out there.

Should also say the carrycot part of my pram, which I loved most, he hated most and it was unbearable to listen to him in it. We put him in the pushchair mode very early and laid him as flat as it allowed. I think you are only supposed to limit them being as upright as in a carseat for a maximum of 2 hours per day.

You need to get a pram suitable for a newborn, or try a sling. Car seats are not supposed to be used as prams.
