My DD is 18mths old. no allergies of any kind. Can she eat prawns? Have got cooked and peeled prawns. I do not eat prawns so am a novice at cooking with them. Can she eat them cold or do I warm them up?

Shellfish is absolutely fine - as long as it's cooked it shouldn't contain any harmful bacteria. Just do them however you normally have them - hope she enjoys it!

Oops sorry you don't have them have just reread your post! Annabel Karmel does some great recipes on her website - my dd loves the mild prawn curry!

Wondered if she could just pick at them without having to heat them up? They are cooked and peeled from the refrigerated section

Went for it and it was like a plague of locust had been past!!! Really pleased as I really struggle with fish and seafood despite really WANTING to like it! Weird I know! Was hopeful that DD would not inherit my inability to like it .... looking good so far!
