Anyone use flip?

Hi all, I am interested in the flip system as heading away on a 10 day holiday without a washing machine. I am thinking of using the disposable inserts. Am I crazy or are they ok to use? I am also getting some stay dry inserts too, so will be able to use the flip covers again after the hols. Any thoughts welcome. Thanks

I can't comment on the disposable inserts as ive never used them, but I have used flips from the beginning with my dd, now 21 months. I've found them very reliable with the stay dry inserts, though in the last few months I have had to use a little lambs bamboo booster because she is starting to hold on to her wee then do loads at once, which the stay dry insert can't absorb fast enough, even though it would probably have capacity.

I've used a mix of washables and dispoasbles on holidays (ie some holidays have washed, some have just taken sposies) and I would say it depends on where and how long you are going for. For a weekend trip to my parents/ friends I find washing ok. For a week in a cottage even though there was a machine I took regular (Lidl) disposables because I was on holiday too!

About half my stash is flips, a mix of stay dry and organic cotton inners. On baby no. 2 now and still going strong, I like them.

Never used the disposible inserts and they never seemed to get good reviews. You would also still need to wash the outers. To be honest, 10 days without a washing machine would mean disposables for me.
