Leaving ds overnight before i go back to work?

I'm due to go back to work next month. I only have to work 1 day the first week, so my parents are looking after ds during the day for me.
I've asked them to have ds over night as well. I figure that I can then won't be stressing the next morning g on getting ds to my parents on time.
Is this a good idea, or am I being selfish?

I expect they will both love it!

It's a good idea but try 1 or 2 practice attempts first, or you may find they have a v bad night with him and then you're not there for comfort.

If it was me, I'd do 2 separate nights at GPs with him, then 2 separated nights him staying overnight without you, 2nd time til lunch.

That way you can go to work confident all is well. And your parents don't end up with an overtired stressed baby to cope with the whole of the next day.

Good luck.

Thank you both. DS has stayed over night with my dsis before, so I'm sure he will be fine and love it!

Not selfish at all, I'm sure they'll have a good time!
