Any suggestions for sun cream suitable for a six month old baby? Other than a high factor I'm not really sure what I should be looking for.

there are a few designed for babies - look for a high factor and a high star rating for UVA protection.

I got Nivea baby factor 50+.

Doesn't seem to thick and isn't at all sticky.

Does Mothercare still do an own brand? That's the one I used when mine were tinies and it was fine.

Boots do one, called Soltan Baby which is 50+. It was on offer last week too Smile

You can go with anything sensitive with good UVA&UVB cover, factor 50.

We use this roll on because its easy to put on an fits well in the change bag.

I'm using Uvistat factor 30 on my eczema prone 7 month old at the moment. Can't tell if it's ok yet as the warm weather is setting off his itching anyway!

I'm using Boots Soltan Baby, it was half price when I bought it yesterday!

Fairylea · 05/06/2013 20:45

Boots soltan baby is great and still half price today :)

I use either Green Baby or Nivea Kids.

A lady working in boots once told me if you bought a product there and you / your kids are allergic to they would replace it with another product so I thought that was worth considering
