Activities for 3.7 yo and non-walking 17mo DDs.

I am struggling to find things to do with my DDs that they will both enjoy. DD1 is 3.7 yo and loves most normal 3 year old stuff except going on a scooter or bike. DD2 is a 17 months old bum shuffler and only started pulling up a couple of weeks ago due to hypermobile hips.

I'd love to do something that they'd both enjoy outdoors, but it's hard to find things that a bum shuffler can do without requiring my full attention.

Any ideas please. Outdoor or indoor activities would be good.

Not very outdoors but how about your local nct group? Should be children of all ages to play with or playgroups or swimming?

Thanks for answering JiltedJohnsJulie. I'll look into those, but I think they tend to be weekday activities and I need something for the weekends when DH is working. Also, not sure I could manage taking them both swimming on my own.

If its the weekend have you got a zoo or children's farm near to you? Could you get an annual pass? We usually go to the library on a Sat morning and swimming or the park in the afternoon. We have some friends wo are single parents or whose Dhs are at work who we also meet up with.
