So embarrassed!!

Its a beautiful warm day today so me and 3 of my children went straight to beach after school with the 2 little dogs. Spent a lovely 2 hours paddling and building sun castles, relaxing with a book, then it all went to pot. my eldest went into the sea with her expensive school shoes on - a big no no, then the 2 dogs had a bad fight which resulted in me being bitten. the villagers were watching us on the beach, as was my daughters school teacher, then one dog decides to poop infront of the teacher, and as i was bleeding and trying to keep the 2 dogs separate (as adrenaline was still high after their fight) i ask my 10 yr old to scoop the poop, she then refuses and has a major sulk, very reluctantly scoops the poop (one dog is her puppy so she is partly responsible for him) she then drags her feet over the bridge to the carpark, having a major sulk infront of everyone.
she was scolded in the car on the way home, when we got home she continued her behaviour by crying and screaming infront of our new neighbours as loud as she could as if she was going to beaten (which she wasnt)
i was sooo embarrassed and ashamed by her behaviour. does anyone else have days like this?

Yep! All part of being a parent. The little darlings are fabulous aren't they?!
Wine tonight for you I think
