Oh the joy

School is out (OK University) I can go back to being a mummy again. No more growling at my DC to go away as I am revising/writing an assignment/writing up my seminar. Three and a bit months to pay full attention to my DC, to go out on days out, to walk the dog as a family, hell, even do the food shop without rushing so I can get back to studying. Roll on summer, I don't even care if it rains, I am a mum now without a whiff of student until the end of September!

Me too! Almost a five month summer for me although I am going to be really self disciplined in August and Sep and get my dissertation prepared. Yay for us! Going back in Sep is going to be hard, last summer I was working full time and DS was in nursery throughout, this year I've withdrawn him for nursery and not working now so were together yay!

Woo hoo! Finished my last exam today. Am transferring to another uni so waiting to hear back from them, otherwise I suppose I might not be going back at all and have an indefinite holiday... eek.

But I'm happy it's the holidays. Exam period was hell on wheels.

I am like a cat who got the cream. Today after lunch I sat in the garden and read a trashy low brow deeply enjoyable book until I finished it! Tomorrow I intend on watching bbc I player ALL day! It's bliss to not have to study. I don't miss it at all

I went straight into full time work at 18 and had no summer, I'm actually glad now because it means I'm here for the ds'.

I cannot WAIT until August where we have a whole 3 weeks off.

3weeks?? Is that it? Oh poor you. I am completely in lazy mode Mumsnetting in bed with a cuppa. Some thing I can only do in the 3 months I get off.
