Why are babies so adorable?! What little things do you love about your baby?

I really had no idea how much I would love my baby! Smile

There have been days when I haven't had a clue what to do with him, he's 14 weeks but I just am overwhelmed by the love I feel for him!

He properly smiled at me today, not just a little grin but a big beaming smile and it made my heart sing!

When I go to pick him up in the morning, he sort of stretches his arms out and bounces about like he can't wait for me to pick him up. I have no idea where he gets his happy nature from!! Grin

I was with dh for 14 years before this baby came but he was really worth the wait.

How much my ds(8weeks) smiles alot when he sees Daddy and I. All the time. I keep telling him I'm going to dunk him in my coffee, followed by a smile from me, which makes him smile so I laugh my head off. Babies are bloody lovely

I love dd2's chubby thighs! And her proper belly laughs when she finds something funny - usually her older brother doing something daft like blowing raspberries at her or dancing wildly.

I love his gummy smiles (i'll be sad when his teeth come). I love the way he squeals with pure joy in the bath splashing or in the jumperoo. And the way he cuddles me when he's feeding. And how he grabs his feet. Scrummy.

Mine is 14 days old and makes the cutest squeaks when he stretches when you wake him. I love the glee when he realises that the boob is ready and it's feeding time. I love the quiet way he watches his older sister. I love having a little baby again, I forgot some of the perks of having a newborn. I could only remember the colicky cry of my DD.

DS has the chunkiest thighs ever which are adorable. He also plays his own little version of peek-a-boo with us.
He's six months and I have a 6 year gap between him and DS2, I forgot what magical little creatures they are from birth! :)

I love the way she smiles in the mornings when i go to get her and the way she gets excited when she sees my boob lol and her adorable little nose and chubby cheeks. In fact i love everything about her! It's just amazing how much you can love your child. Crazy :-)

DS is now 6.5mo and such a character. I love the way he strokes my face when I feed him, that he can now suck his toes, the raspberry blowing noise he makes, when he gives me a big smile when I go into him in the morning, I could go on and on.

I've got DD sleeping on my legs right now. She's all crumpled up and looks like a goblin or a garden gnome! Grin

I love now DS can kiss and cuddle, we were sitting on the bathroom floor earlier waiting for the bath to run and he kept cuddling me I could have just held on to him forever, and I love his little cute baby voice when he's annoyed he shouts at his big cousin to 'calm down' when she runs alone the street it's had strangers in stitches watching him he's so serious... the list just goes on and on

I love the way ds 11 months waves at me up and down frantically when I go to his room when he wakes from a nap :) he's just learnt how to wave and is very pleased with himself :)

I love his little chubby toes and I kiss them all day long :)

I never thought I'd have any more babies after dd aged 10 for medical reasons and both dh and I have infertility issues so ds is our little miracle (as is dd).

Ladies, it's all about the feet. Please treasure those lovely soft soles.

My DC2 is now 20mo and his feet are now officially not soft. And he is DCLast so I'll have to wait until I'm a granny now to get my next soft-foot fix.

And I don't even like babies that much.

Aaaah I love these!

I love the way my 4mo's breath smells all milky in the mornings.

I love the way he smiles when he wakes up and sees me lying next to him (currently unintentionally co-sleeping...whoops!)

I love the way he giggles so much when I blow raspberries on his tummy after a bath.

I love how he seems to think it is hilarious when I pretend to gobble his feet and tell him that he is so yummy I am going to eat him for my dinner!

I love love love everything about him!

*The only thing that I don't love is how fast his little fingernails grow, because he hates having them cut and I feel mean when I have to do it!

What a lovely thread!

I love how DD is all smiles first thing in the morning when I go to pick her up.

The way she'll break off feeding to smile at me if I smile at her.

The look of intense concentration as she contemplates her own hands.

When she looks all pleased with herself for using her baby noises or sitting up.

And I just love the straining noises and screwed up red face she makes when she's having a poo, she's like an old man on the loo and it's hilarious! (She's ebf so not constipated or anything!)

I love how excited 5 month old ds is when he wakes up and sees me, I have never felt so wanted in all my life.

I love the way he cuddles me in the morning when he all soft and floppy from just waking up.

I love the leathery feel to the small bald bit on the back of his head (strange?)

I love how he screams with joy and chuckles and waves his arms and legs with joy when I take his cloths off so he can have nappy off time or a massage.

I love his hair which sometimes looks red, sometimes looks golden and sometimes looks white.

(doodle we cut ds's nails when he is asleep)
