Anyone have Little Lamb Size 3?

DD2 has grown out of my Bamboozles and Little Lamb size 2. Goodness knows how, she is only just 2 (and not ready for potty training) and she is under 30lbs, although very tall.

Am considering buying a few LL sz3s but am worried they will be hugey-normeous on her, since she is almost 10lbs under the "35lb+" suggestion. Can anyone advise on how much bigger they are than the size 2s, or any suggestions of other reasonably priced, reasonably absorbant, BIG nappies?

(Also outgrown my Wonderoo pockets...)

I think they've recently introduced a size 3 Bamboozle. Might be worth a look as they are quite slim fitting. Also an all-in-one to consider would be the Real Easies by HipHip Baby. I believe the insert in them is hemp so they have better absorbency than most AIOs. MioSolos (another AIO) are also supposed to be good for tall babies but these definitely need boosting.

My DS is 2 and also tall (75th centile) but nowhere near 35lbs. He's not grown out of his size 2 bamboozles just yet, but I do hope he potty trains soon so I don't have to invest in another set of nappies.

I've just ordered some LL size 3s for my little girl, she's been in bamboozle stretchies size 2 at night but just so tall that they are starting to look a bit small. She is over 30lb though. Was thinking about getting size 3 stretchies but found an offer on Fill Your Pants for 5 LL bamboo for £25! Fluff Heaven have LL on 2 for 1 so you could get 2 for a tenner just to see. I'll report back in a few days when mine have arrived. Agree with Rrreow re MioSolos and large Real Easies £6ish from Babykind are fab. The minky are sooooooo soft and lovely.... I do boost them with an LL bamboo though too.

Thanks, I have some Real Easies on order. Still debating the LLs, will wait and see whether I can manage with just the REs. Also have some Flip covers and inserts coming - tried a friends and they are big enough.

I think it is a matter of tallness; dd2 is 92nd-ish for her height.

Came across this post looking for alternatives for DS - he is 17 months and he's on the absolute final poppers on his motherease one size, and his large wraps are getting too small. He's waking up with red chafing marks on his legs from the nappies and wraps both being too small and cutting into his legs. He's also 91st centile for height and weight.

I might try the Real Easies too - I looked on cloth nappy tree but no luck.

I'm also looking everywhere for second hand Motherease Airflows or similar in XL - the large sizes seem to be like hen's teeth!

A while back Bambino Mio were doing really cheap packs of their XL (or XXL?) wraps. Have a look on Amazon. I can't comment on whether they are any good though as haven't tried them myself.

I've finally prewashed my LL bamboo size 3 and used it last night. It lasted the night without any extra booster (I folded over the sewn in one so it was all between the legs). Definitely a better fit than the size 2 stretchy on tall dd - think she must be nearly 90cm I think - tabs met in the middle so it was just about ok round the waist but it came higher up the hips than the stretchy which is what I was after. She's def over 30lbs though so it might be a bit big on a smaller kid.

xiaoxong Onelife wraps are v similar to airflow and often cheap if you can find them as they have been discontinued. I think size 3 is the biggest. Mine fit over the size 3 nappy. Or little lamb size 3 nappies are similar to rikkis, they had an offer of 4 for £17 or something on the Littlelamb website recently, not sure if its still running though.

Sorry in the last para I meant little lamb wraps not nappies!

Biscuitcrumbs, I'm thinking of getting ll size 3 for ds cos he's such a heavy wetter right now though potty training is not far off. Our size 2s are getting small on him too, he's 29 lb.
So how much larger are size 3s? I ask cos we have a new baby girl who will inherit ds nappies and she may not be as large. Also have you (or anyone else) found size 3 more absorbant?
Thank you!
