Chafing around top of wrap

DD is in little lambs and motherease wraps (mostly rikki). She's getting broken sore skin just at the top of the wrap. I've changed more frequently and made sure the wrap is dry but it's still there. What else should I try?

Try some vaseline. Is the wrap on too tight? Or too loose?

Possibly too tight, I'll loosen off a bit and see. How tight should it be? Will vaseline affect the nappies?

If you use vaseline more often as a barrier cream it's good to use a liner, so it doesn't get on the nappy itself. However as you're only talking about the top where the elastic is, I wouldn't worry (and it wouldn't affect the wrap). I tend to put nappies/wraps on so they're snug but you can still fit two fingers under the edge.
