ok to leave nappy bucket for a few days while on holiday?

hi

am going away soon for a long weekend, would it be OK to leave the cloth nappies we use in the 2 days before going away in teh nappy bucket to wash when we return? last time i went away for a weekend i used sposies for a day or so before hand to avoid leaving nappies in the bucket. but am wondering whether this is necessary. i live with my mum so there will be someone in the house with said nappies hence my concern about any smells developing.

Might be a bit stinky, but if you have a bucket with a lid hopefully not too bad! I would leave them soaking in cold water so that they don't start to dry out - it'll stop stains/smells from 'sticking'. Or you could just put them on to wash before you go and your mum could hang them out for you?!
