wonder week......

Has anyone heard of the wonder Weeks that our babies go through in their first year.my lo is 35 Weeks and think he is going through one at the moment as he is extra grizzly and really not fussed about feeding time.

Yes, I've got the book The Wonder Weeks and it's an interesting-ish read. But to be honest I've found that whenever my little one (now 17 months) has a bad patch it is teething. Definitely teething, and as soon as the tooth pops through he is fine again. Or sometimes a mild illness. But mostly teething.

The app is quite useful. Has a chart that highlights all the ups and downs. It's quite useful if not just to determine an unusually fussy stage. It also breaks down all the developmental milestones.
DD doesn't always stay true to the chart but there abouts.

I have got the app on my phone which is quite interesting. He isn't teething,in fact he didn't make as much fuss teething as he has been doing these last few days. I am trying not to get too stressed as I know he cannot help it but today in particular he has been a right grot bags!!! Could say something stronger but fear I will get slated on here. He has been screaming in fits of paddys for no reason at all. He doesn't want to touch finger food now whereas previously he was a good little eater. He will only eat if being fed and even then makes such a massive deal out of it.
I really do hope the reason for his sudden recent behaviour is down to the wonder Weeks. I just want my little treasure back!!

With DD her bottom teeth came through un noticed, yet with the top two, she was off colour for WEEKS. Really irritable, off food, whiny etc. when they broke she seems much better, so they could be rumbling away under the gums perhaps.

It's so tough though, I always feel like I'm putting it down to something, "oh she's teething", "it's a growth spurt" etc, but really I have no idea and I am completely winging it hoping that it ends soon haha!!

My lo has got six teeth so far at 8 months old so that's what makes me think its not his teething. Unless they are coming through at the back unnoticed. But I just feel his tempers/screaming/paddys are completely different to when he was suffering from teething. He is like Jekyll and Hyde some days. A complete little Sh1t one minute then an absolute darling.
