As well as the regular baby favourites like rice cakes, 13 month old has also taken a liking to bitter natural yogurt, olives and stilton what random things have your babies liked to eat?

Lemons. Strange child.

Jbck · 20/04/2013 20:38

DD2 loved gherkins from a similar age, both DDs loved anything really garlicky from about a year. Used to stink in an adorable way Grin

Ah yes, lemons! Mine too - always give him the one in my diet coke but had raised eyebrows from MIL one time when he got the lemon juice in his eye :)

Lemons, pickled onions, roll mops (pickled herrings). DD is 13 months!

She asks to be picked up, points to the kitchen, opens the fridge & points at the jar of pickled onions at least twice a day.

Mango chutney.

Her first birthday we took her to a curry house and she was allowed her own pot, she was beyond delighted.
She loved asparagus for a few months when weaning but obviously won't entertain it on her plate now.

My DD loves raw garlic. She scours the vegetable trolley for it, grabs a clove, and sucks/chews away! A nearly one year old with garlicy breath is very odd... Grin

More lemons here.
And fish eyes (shudder)

Hummous here, also gherkins and carpet fluff.

Mama1980 · 21/04/2013 20:40

Ds1 used to love sweet potato mashed with blueberries mixed in

lovelyredwine · 21/04/2013 20:43

Oh yes, remembered some more. Liver. She also loves marmite- I like it too, but it's quite a 'grown up' taste really.

TotesAmazeGoats · 21/04/2013 21:38

9 months and anything fishy. We shared mackerel the other day. the cat was super pissed
Also a marmite lover, she'll eat pretty much anything which I'm making he most of before fussiness kicks in!!
