Hi - I am really down because our little girl is wetting her pants again. She seemed ready for potty training at 20 months, but has averaged 2 accidents a day since then - ie some days with no accidents, some with loads - she's now over 2 1/2. Last week she was dry for a whole week, including two 5-hour car journeys, then for the last few days she's been having damp pants about 3 times a day.

We have tried (more than tried, ie done for a long time - remember how long it's been):

praise for dry pants/asking
not reacting to accidents/damp pants
her carrying wet pants to the washing basket
carrying potty everywhere
new special toilet seat
new special step
asking her whether she wants to go at very regular intervals
not asking her whether she wants to go and waiting for her to ask
reminding her to ask
taking her at regular times, ie before and after food, immediately she gets up from bed/nap, just before going out etc
stickers at regular intervals for dry pants
going home from toddler group if she wets
asking her why

Also we have always been open and positive about weeing and pooing, and she is happy to watch us on the loo and come to the loo with us.

I would welcome any help/sympathy/advice that you can offer!
