does breast milk taste different afta freezing

I froze it straight defrosted it over nite in fridge and it tastes different?? Is that normal? Less creamy but I haven't warmed it up yet as its for dp to give whilst I work

Yes, it does, it's the lactase. You can stop it by scalding it before you freeze it (bring it to the edge of a boil but don't actually boil it).
