Ds is 2.2 yrs and is getting to the upper end of the tots bots size and always have to add a booster, because he is performing these enormous wees at the moment. Was really hoping to not ahve to buy the next size but am getting fed up of leaky nappies. Was really hoping to begin potty training over summer months, but ds has little speech and don't think he is ready to potty train just yet. But dh is pressing me to start in half term as we goa way in August and thinks we will have a nightmare training in limited time beofre holiday.

So I guess i'm asking any tips for no more leaky nappies? Do I (dare I say it)switch to disposables after all this time(really don't want to as rather proud of self for sticking with it)? Say sod it and begin potty training and cope witht the fall out? Please anyone come up wiht any solutions?

you could stick a microfibre cloth in between the nappy and the wrap to make it more absorbant and less likely to leak..

if you need the nappy to be bigger not sure what anyone can suggest:
1 buy bigger size 3 nappies (you will probably need them for a while at night time anyway)
2 potty train now
3 tell ds to stop growing (lol)
4 use disposables

Ps 3 is not a seriouse suggestion!

That's a good point about night nappies, you could always sell a few size 2 and buy size 3 2nd hand.

My son is also an imprecise talker, tho he does know the word "NO" when asked if he has done a poo Grin, he's 2 and a bit and I really can't imagine him potty training til later in the year (mainly cos his lower lip starts wobbling if I suggest sitting on the potty)

okay where is the best place to sell some nappies then? considering they are very well used and what's the possible selling price?

vkone - that sounds pretty similar to my ds.

Have a look on ebay, loads for sale. Search completed listings to see what they go for.

Prefolds are economical but I dont know how they work with a toddler and enormous wees. You could get some advice from the nappy lady, you dont have to buy from her.
