My DD (9) and DS (7) are having a lovely break from school with lots of lovely lying in in the mornings. 9am today! Smile We will have a big problem on Monday morning when we have to get up early for school. So I thought I'd ask for MN advice on how to get them going on a Monday morning.......

Do they have alarm clocks? If not, how about a 'back to school' gift of an alarm clock of their choice in given budget?
They are old enough to know the return to school is coming which may or may not help!
In our house, DH usually goes in and opens blinds, then starts organising breakfast. I then delivery any extra prodding required 5 or 10 minutes later.
