for 'sing', make a v sign with the index and middle fingers of your r hand (actually you can use both, I think). Use the V to represent notes trilling away from your mouth - fingers held horizontally, palm facing your face.

You can download 'sing a rainbow' \link{http://www.widgit.com/resources/communication/bsl/sheets.htm\here}

There are quite a few american signed song video clips on the web, but of course the signs are diferent.

thanks for that. signs are great but i also need the music to go with the signs and don't want any words on it, anyone?

'make' in BSL is R fist over L fist, tapped down twice (bit like 'building'). At least in London, where I learnt it - am sure there are regional variations!

Thats the sign I use for make too. The only variation I know is if you are making something small then its a more introcate sign made with the fingers in a bunched shape.

We learned 'make' as 'building' but rub top hand from front to back and flick top wrist instead of banging bunched hands down flat. For 'sing' try watching CBeebies advert for Mr Tumble. He signs 'I will teach you songs and rhymes'
