Swedish / Scandi in the North East

Hi all
I was just wondering if there are any Swedish / Scandi families in the North East esp. Tyne and Wear.

I am a Mum of 2 DDs, my DH is Swedish. We are raising the girls bilingual and it would be great to meet / know some people outside the family. :)

There is an online Mums in sweden group (also on fb), some of the people have since returned to the UK, so might be worth a shot to see if anyone is in your area.

Hej! I'm from the North East originally although I've lived in the suburbs of Stockholm for almost 15 years. I have three DD's (although their Swedish father and I are divorced now).

We manage to get back to the UK to visit family around once every year.

Hello. Not Swedish, but a Swedish speaking Finn, and live in the NW but am moving down south in late September.

Sorry, meant to say, although live in NW, can easily travel as my work is in NE area, if it helps.
