let your baby sleep outside in the shade and covered up and protected with suncream and a net over pram or would you put them in their cot for afternoon nap

My mom used to put me outside in my pram, from a very young age, snow or sun, the fresh air did me good. Make the most of it, it might rain tomorrow.

When beck goes for her nap later, she will be going in the garden!

I do it in cold weather too though

so do you reckon it helps them sleep at night time having all that fresh air

id stick them outside, both mine slept all summer in thier first year in a big old pram in the garden, or grandparents garden..they still do now but on the swing ( far to big for a pram..hehehe)

Outside for definite. MIL puts DH (6 months)outside when she has him and he comes home in a really happy mood & sleeps for ages at night.
