"Diaper genie" or just a bin?

I was wondering if anyone uses a special nappy disposal bin or do you just use a regular bin. I can't decide if the special nappy disposal bins are amazing or gimmicky!

I used one with dd but with ds I just put the nappy in a nappy bag and put it in the outside bin. Much easier and cheaper.

We use the Korbel one. Over 3 years and 2 children now. Def works for us as live in a flat so it's far to go to outside bin every change. No smells with lid down and empty every other day approx. ( one child in nappies fully time, one at nights)

Normal bin with nappy sacks is fine IME.
