Found out yesterday I have been accepted for midwifery BSc at my local uni!! How amazed and chuffed am I?!?!?!

Still doing access course right now, and am due to start degree in February 2007.

I am over the moon. Hope you don't mind me sharing this with you all, but I just want to tell the world!!

That's fantastic news, CH. I 'met' you on the TTC boards and also briefly at the meet-up and remember that you were wanting to do midwifery.

Well done! Smile

no, i failed to get onto midwifery 4 years ago, so i did care practice management and im now about to hit the job market, i suppose i might go back and do midwifery one day. when i was intervieing for the courses they kept saying how they tailor the course to weed out anyone squeemish in the first few weeks, so be prepared to see some 'gore'!!!
good luck

Coathanger · 11/05/2006 13:31

Well done you! Good to hear you are about to graduate!

I am not in the slightest bit squemish. Takes a lot for me to puke!! The only thing I am ever a bit wobbly with is eye balls but they need to be bulging for me to be that scared!!

Blood and gore and lumps and stuff don't worry me in the slightest! phew!!
