Behaviour in little ones

My baby is 5 months. He's recently taken to screaming at the top of his voice. I figure he's just testing out his voice, it's a phase that will pass so don't do much. I don't particularly react and figure he's too young to understand any trying to stop him, say 'no' etc. Do others agree? Is he too young for teaching him things like using a quieter voice? Or am I being soft?

Screaming phase! We're there too -- sounds like a baby pterodactyl. They will grow out of it I'm sure.

That's good. Of all his friends he is the only one. He has a remarkable volume for such small lungs Grin

Mine is 8 months and he still screams now, not crying or distressed more excited? I think he just likes the noise it makes Grin
