Nappy Liners

I've got a roll of nappy liners where one side is smooth and the other side is slightly textured, for use with reusable nappies. Can someone please tell me, is it the smooth or textured side which goes next to baby's skin?

what brand are they?

My Little Green Earthlets ones are like this, and I think you use the textured side next to the skin. Probably doesn't make a whole lot of difference. Are they really thick? Sometimes with good quality ones, you can wash them once if they've only been weed on.

They came in a kit with Little Lamb nappies, no packaging on the roll to specify any brandname.

to be honest with no-one having a clue, I'd bang them on either way and see how it goes

and then make some fleece ones when they're finished Smile

I'd guess textured against skin... not sure why I think that though!

Which side is outward on the roll? I would be inclined to put that side away from skin.

Its the textured side that goes next to the skin becasue the other side has a semi waterproff barrier on it to stop the wee coming through.

OOh, I was right?? Grin

God, how I love MN! I got some little lambs liners as well in a local authority free nappy kit, and I was wondering this too! Thanks you all!
