Any party ideas to help a stressed mama out?

Not sure if this is right place to post it, if not, point me in right direction :)

dd will be turning 2 years old in 3 weeks - how times flies!

And I'm absolutely stuck on what to do. DH organized ds1's 2nd party which was a blast but this year he's handed the "book of ideas" to me (he doesn't want to deal with it this year) and I kid you not, it has lists and pictures and even post it notes in it - I swear I even saw a few pages dedicated the dts 1st birthday; which isn't until September.

I'm trying to avoid the dreaded book so any ideas would be welcome as the only thing I've organised so far, are the dc's outfits...

Dd doesn't like big crowds, loud noises, or unfamiliar people, so we're kind of limited on what to do... help?!

You could try a Hungry Caterpillar party? There are some good ideas, and links, on this thread and it doesn't sound too complicated either.

Crumbs. Dd turns 2 this week and we're just having a few little friends over to play, with some snacks and cake... She also doesn't like noisy places and lots of people so will be happiest with something simple. Dp and I are taking her to her favourite soft play as a treat the next day, as well.

After looking on pinterest, I found some cool ideas. Thanks for the recommendation.

I've decided on an indoor garden party. She loves flowers and pretty soft things, so I'm going to decorate the dining room in plastic flowers and greens and yellows. Gunna find some mini tea sets to use as well.

I'm pretty good bakers so gunna make some flower pop cakes and cupcakes, bright colour fruits etc.

I'm excited now :)

Thank you. Have you tried pinterest, even if it's just to give you some ideas. DH loves the idea and is peeved that he didn't think of it first haha.

Good luck with your planning :)
