3 week old losing latch

Hi,
My 3 week old is generally a champion feeder and doesn't really cry unless hes hungry but this week, every evening he has seemed to lose his latch on my breast and fly into a total screaming rage. It doesn't tend to last that long, maybe 20 minutes at the most but I'm just wondering what on earth is wrong with him! My husband thinks it may be colic, but isn't it too short a time? He's not a great sleeper and I wonder if he's so knackered by 6-7 that he 'forgets' how to feed. Any ideas? Has anyone else experienced this? I just want to be able to understand my little one better and avoid the problem getting worse.
Thank you :-)

Bunged up nose?

Is he pulling his legs up toward his tummy? If so this can indicate gut pain. Colic under 3 months is really common. Try and calm him down and then try and latch him on again. Unless this is getting visibly worse it will most likely pass

He has had a bit of a crusty nose actually, maybe that's it...

He does sometimes pull his legs up, which often means he's ready to do an epic poo! I'll keep an eye on it though, thanks for the advice.
