I've used mine twice now - first time was great, the second time I got some wicking, but I know why.. where I have it poppered down it is rolling out at the front so the fabric bit is rubbing on the clothes - I'll try again today and try and get it right.

I think Bonym uses them (I remember someone convincing me to try one, but can't remember who Blush).

I like the way that the booster will work itself out in the wash Grin

I think it may have been one of bonym's posts that convinced me! Did you pre-wash it or can I give it a go today? Mind you I always think the sunshine means I should go for the all out "big bottomed" look!

Have also tried it on my 2 year old and he kept saying "mmmmm so soft" which I think meant he likes it!

I did prewash, but it takes hardly any time to dry - if you wash it now you could probably use it by late afternoon. Or you could put a different booster in it?

You've nicked my sunshine though Envy. I have a big pile of wet washing here, and loads of grey sky.

I'm needing to invest in some decent wraps etc... just discovered that baby boys are only allowed to wear denim shorts (according to the shops I've been in) and they look sooo uncomfortable, so he needs a nappy to match every t-shirt he owns insteadGrin

(Not that any of that was relevant... I'm on coffee and rambling Blush)

Thanks - had a go on it this evening, seemed very absorbant for such a little nappy! If it washes well I think I may be very impressed with it!

Have also bought some very cute wraps in bright colours, any excuse to be able to get ds's gorgeous chunky thighs out this summer! The bumgenius come in some really nice colours I noticed but unfortunately not in this country as far as I can tell.

Yup, I've only seen them in white :(

PP - I love my reusables... mainly because disposables seem to leak all over my babies!! I mainly use tots bots - which are ones that need a wrap, but am getting all ambitious and experimenting with all in ones.

So far I like the bumgenius. It holds a lot, dries quickly, and is shrinkable/growable so you don't need several different sizes. It goes on just like a disposable too, so doesn't phase other family members etc so much. Had out first poo in it today, and it held it all in Wink

Tried out a magicall too - love it, really diddy, holds a lot, but its a small, medium, large job so could get pricey, and where they are new, you can't get the things on ebay!!! Angry

Really quick post as sausage butties are ready! Have heard a rumour that babykind are doing 20% off magicalls in last 2 weeks of april - going to definitely give them a go then
