Hi. Just need advice on my 13 week old. He's not the best sleeper at night, he's in bed from 8 and normally up between 6-7. But we are awake a lot in the night, twice for feeding, around 12am for 2oz then a 4oz bottle around 5am. He will settle back to sleep no problem and doesn't cry in the night, but he wakes a lot, dummy in then back to sleep. The issue I have is he doesn't want to be awake much in the day. He will sleep 7-8 hours in the day, and I can't make he stay awake as he just crys, now I'm worried he will always wake through the night and then play catch up in the day. How do I reduce daytime sleep?! Or is this normal?

agh I am jealous! My 4.5 month old is like that at night with NO daytime naps! Count your lucky stars! Smile

Umm. Two feeds in the night at 3 months is NOT 'a lot'! DS was waking about every 40 minutes for feeds at this point. Your DS sounds fine, but you might want to try a few more feeds at night because his other wakeups might be hunger-related.

I've tried. Even when he wakes at 12am he's not interested and only takes 2oz. Then he feeds around 5am and then its every 3 hours at 4oz. He's messing about with his feeds today and has just had a feed and only taken 3oz, then he just messes with the teat!
