what do other folk do when out and about and no toilets...use a bush?! We occasional "water" the trees "to make them grow" but had some disapproving looks of late. Dont get me wrong if theres a toilet nearby we'll use it but my sons only been out of nappies a few mths and cant hold on very long. Also what do you do when hurtling down the motorway and that little voice from the back peeps up "i need a wee wee"...do you stop on hard shoulder (get out/stay in and use potty in car) or do you make them wait as not safe so inevitably will wet themselves....hmmmmmm

personally would NEVER get out of car on a motor way EVER (unless broken down!)

if its a toddler and we are out and about i dont care of the looks that you may occasionally get. If there are no loos, there is normally some discreetish place thats ok. Anyone who gives yu a 'look' obviously dont know what its like to have kids!

arrg bugger all that discreet stuff, if little one is desperate out with tackle and in the gutter. Sorry but the loos in the Uk are few and far between and a disgrace , you get looks if you use a restaurant/cafe loo without buying something so sod em all.

Both mine had the habit of not telling me they needed to go until desperate which made it difficult to find a loo in time or get off the motorway. After a lot of encouragement we've now taught ds he has to let us know as soon as he feels the urge to give us chance to sort it out. Never stop on the motorway, always come off at next junction.
But don't worry about watering trees etc if necessary, dogs do it all the time.

tee hee posey, puts me in mind of my dh moaning at me when I get ds dinky out for a wee in the gutter in France, Have you seen the state of the pavements all that dog doo doo everywhere, huh why should i care mind you there loos are a vast improvement on ours these days.
