... I just burst out crying in dd1's parents evening. From a year ago when we were so worried about her, she was behind in everything and really emotionally volitile at home, she has had a great year, turned in to the nicest kindest sweetest girl I know, and she is nearly caught up at school, she is no longer on the motor program as she was doing so well, the teacher even had a tear in her eye telling me.

I know it sound like nothing much but the relief is unreal and she must have worked so hard over this year to go from really far behind in everything to only a little behind in maths and on track with everything else. Her writing is neat and you can read it. School have done a lot of work with trying to find things that work for her becasue things just never seemed to click.
I have no idea what changed or why but something has and I am gushingly proud and a little over emotional about it.

Meant to say you're not being smug at all. Far from it, you sound like a lovely mum. Hope dd enjoyed the moshi stuff, well deserved.
