Cleaning up after a birthday party

Well, the little man celebrated his first birthday yesterday and its the first party I've ever hosted since I was 13.

Could any of you experienced parents please tell me the best way to remove a greasy handprint from our painted, plastered dining room wall (courtesy of his cousin and a chicken drumstick), and to remove chocolate icing from our beige carpet? I just can't seem to get either removed.

Thanks!

Hi PP

Sounds as if you had fun!

I found this website a while ago. It describes how to remove any stain from anywhere, and has a chatboard/messageboard to chat about stains too! www.diynot.com/pages/st/

sorry, had to Grin at "messageboard to discuss stains"
