What to put on 4mo feet??

My 4mo just wears socks at the moment but I am noticing that sometimes his feet are a bit chilly. I have heard that you shouldn't put still shoes on their feet yet, is this right? What is the best thing to keep their feet a bit warmer?

AF, i have fake tesco baby uggs for ds when he's in the sling. They keep his feet lovely and toasty Blush

He also has soft bootees with frogs on from sainsburys, but i can't find them on the website. They have frog faces on :o

My DS is 10 months old. Only cruising not yet walking so no shoes yet. If it is cold outside I put a pair of tights on under his trousers and then socks on top of the tights to keep his feet warm. Booties seem to get removed and lost too quickly whereas the socks can be kept on with sock-ons.

Anyone in your family knit? A pair of.knitted soft.booties would be an extra layer.

Or a pair of socks under the sleepsuit?

Welly socks! Amazing things. A bit big for your age, but lovely thick, wooly, long socks. In amazing colors

Moccons are good and you can get them in Sainsbury. I god 12-18 month size straight away, they were big fcor a while but now the baby is nearly a year old they are not stupidly big and he can cruise around the furniture with them on.

A lot of people like these too whch are quite clever, you can get liners and stuff and you can put them on over the top of their shoes and stuff to keep feet warm in the buggy/sling.

Mainly socks though.Socks, sleepsuit under clothes or jsut a fleecy sleepsuit as their clothes, a pair of socks over the top of the sleepsuit too for good measure!

these?

MustafaCake · 25/02/2013 14:42

I put DS in socks and soft leather slippers/ shoes like this

www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-SOFT-LEATHER-BABY-BOY-GIRL-SHOES-0-6-6-12-12-18-18-24-MONTHS-/330799969743?pt=UK_Baby_BabyShoes_BabyShoes_GL&var=&hash=item4d0536f5cf

Because they are elasticated round the ankle he can't get them off!

minimuffin · 25/02/2013 14:47

Little swedish moccasin socks with soft leathery soles, they're thick so they keep feet toasty, and they stay on! Google Moccis and Nowali

babySophieRose · 25/02/2013 21:46

Yes, sheepskin booties always, so soft and warm.

showtunesgirl · 25/02/2013 21:49

I find these really good.
