I'm currently SAHM, youngest will be going to school in September and so I'm thinking about doing an access course in Art & Design at the local college. It's two full days at college plus additional study.

Anyone else done this? What was your experience like?

thanks Smile

Hi, I did it 5 years ago and really enjoyed it. What do you want to use it for?

I did it, to help me to get on an architecture degree, and I did manage to get in the university and course I wanted. I have since stopped Architecture, and I'm now doing another degree, but that's another story.

The only downside is that you don't get any Ucas points, and many graduate jobs ask for Ucas points, which I'm starting to stress about Confused. If I had to chose again I would have done A-levels, btecs or a foundation diploma instead.

That's why before making a decision evaluate what you want to use it for.
