Dr brown teats?

We have been combined feeding through the night and have been using dr brown bottles with level 1 teats, however dd splutters and coughs after a while. She dribbles a lot more milk with these teats, and we had none of this on the breast. I wondering whether the milk is coming through too quickly for her and if anyone else has found this? Whether to change the teats we are using? Thanks

We started giving DS a bottle at night at about 9 weeks and went straight on level
2 and have had no problems. Although we're using comfort milk as he was very colicky so maybe that's thicker. How long have you being using them? Maybe she'll become more used to it. Or perhaps too sleepy. Has she had one during the day? Wondering if it would be any different when fully alert.

Comfort milk is a lot thicker. I used level 1 until dd was 3 months and then changed to level 2 with no problems. Dd has always spluttered on occasion but no relation to the teats or bottles, more when she has been hungry and a bit agitated and gobbled more.
