hand washing in toilet training - quick question

We are currently at the stage of taking him every 30 minutes. Do we think a 3yo should wash his hands even if he hasn't had a wee?

Depends if he touches absolutely everything including the toilet bowl etc.

We didnt bother when ours was using the potty downstairs, but if he used the toilet upstairs, as I washed my hands, he did too. Its not a bad habit to get into though, because they like them to do it at nursery (obviously).
