Just realised through reading back I didn't tell you about that website, sorry. There's a blog about a lady who has has multiple mcs/early losses and the dr did loads of tests and eventually prescribed her these drugs on certain days and it worked! Then she went on to have another baby with the same drugs.
The dr today knew what the drugs were, but she said have the bloods first.

lizandlulu · 15/01/2014 22:56

Oh no choccy, I really thought this was it. What a bastard. So so sorry for you :(( how nice you got a doctor who actually gave a shit tho, nice that she held your hand. Have you told your mum about these early mc's? She might have heard alot of stories from mothers when she was working. Might be able to shed some light? Or at least reassure you it will happen which I'm certain it will.

And no I didn't take the side off, I need build up to these things! Get round to it when she's 6-7!

Booked two holidays tho. Going to try alicante with kids and me mum in feb and benidorm with kids and mother in law in April. Also butlins Easter weekend with caravan and friends. So much to do, so little time to do it

Choccywoccydodah · 16/01/2014 08:48

Bastard indeed Liz :(
Just waiting for bloods.

Would love to book lots of holidays for this year. Sounds fab Liz lucky thing!!
Went to book Tenerife the other night for end fen/march but really need to get on with this house now we've started, esp if I do finally get pg.
Meant to be going away for the whole of May for robs 40th so may just do that for now.

Lol with the cot side!

Update, they've just drained me of 7 pots of blood, let's see what this all means then.

How long do you have to wait for the results. Lets hope it turns something up so it can be treated

Choccywoccydodah · 16/01/2014 19:23

She said this afternoon or tomorrow morning if have results.......I guess tomorrow morning then!

How you doing Iwish?? Busy busy??

lizandlulu · 16/01/2014 21:16

At least it's fairly quick, tho, I expected you to say weeks. They never rush about for anything!

Iwish · 16/01/2014 21:46

I hope they give you some answers soon choc, hopefully the quicker they find out whats happening the quicker they can treat it.

Wow a holiday for the whole of may!! We haven't had a holiday for about 4 years.

You get about on holidays liz! Im so jealous!! And lol at the sides on the cot Grin id leave her tho if shes happy there.

Today has been a bit crappy. All I've done is wash dry and fold washing and try to soothe a screaming baby. Lucy has been a whinger today and yesterday, just crying for no reason. She slept well last night tho. Last feed was 10:45 then up ar 3:45 then 7:10.

Iwish · 17/01/2014 04:30

Ffs Lucy is still whinging. She's been screaming since 3am and I'm getting seriously pissed off with it.

Choccywoccydodah · 17/01/2014 07:31

Oh no Iwish. I hope she settles in the night soon for you, she's been so good.

Is she just wanting to be held? Or does she want you as a dummy?
I'll take her lol Wink xx

Choccywoccydodah · 17/01/2014 07:32

Got an internal scan at 9.40 this morning, Euan going to nursery in a bit. Hopefully they may see something.
The bleeding stopped yesterday about 4pm, now just spotting. Very quick this time!

lizandlulu · 17/01/2014 07:47

Hopefully you'll get the results while your there choccy.

Did she go off iwish? She did sleep very well to say she doesn't know the difference between night and day yet!

Iwish · 17/01/2014 09:10

I have no idea what she wanted, she was just crying. Didn't want feeding, wasn't bothered about being held because she still cried. She started being like this in the daytime on Tuesday/Wednesday but now it's crept into the night time. She fell asleep about 5 and Joshua woke me at 5:30 crying. Sigh.

I feel tired this morning anyway.

Hope they can see something on the scan choc

Choccywoccydodah · 17/01/2014 10:35

Had scan, nothing wrong inside, but been advised to have a 'month off' and have been referred to the recurrent miscarriage clinic. Still not heard about bloods.

Hope she gets better for you Iwish x

lizandlulu · 18/01/2014 08:50

You get blood results in the end choccy?

Good that your bits are all functioning tho, at least if they're all working it's something else to corss of the list. Did you see the front page of the mirror? A woman had 20 mc which was because her body attacked the foetus (sorry I don't know how to word it better) so a doctor gave her anti malaria tablet as they decrease your immune system or somethinglike that, so her body wouldn't attack the baby and let it grow.
Not that I think for a second you would need to go that far, it's just to show you how medicine is amazing and you hear of new things all the time!

How's everything iwish? Screaming stopped? Have you got a lullaby machie thing? Worth a try

Choccywoccydodah · 18/01/2014 19:56

Blimey Liz, mozzie stuff?? That's odd.
Personally u think it's my progesterone and so does the miscarriage nurse.
Bloods came back clear so that's good I think although it doesn't really give me an answer!!
Currently out with dh. He's trying to get me pissed i think! I've not drank properly for months so I'm having a bit of a night on it tonight!
How are you both xx

lizandlulu · 19/01/2014 21:13

All fine here, good in one way that the bloods are all clear, is there more tests to find out why? This progesterone thing, can they test for that?

Not a bad weekend, been out twice!! Mum had the kids two nights on the trot! Never been heard of before.
Friday night just me and Chris went t a new Thai place in town and mum had the kids here till we got back just after 9. Sat night we went to a party at leek where Chris comes from so the kids went to mums overnight.

Chris went racing all day today yet again so just me ad kids, the weathers been that miserable that it's not fit to go anywhere fun like park, farm park, zoo, anything like that.

Iwish · 22/01/2014 15:52

That's good your mum had the kids liz. Bet you were pleased and happy for the break. How's Violet? Is her chest ok at the moment?

How are you choc? Did you get drunk with the hubby? Are they doing more tests to see what's going on? How's Euan?

My friend had a little boy today, so pleased for her. We see each other every week, she has a 2yo daughter so her and Joshua play.

Got Lucy weighed yesterday and she's 8lb 1oz now the little chunk. Still too small for her 0-3 clothes tho and she's got some lovely clothes I'm dying to put her in.

Still crying when she's awake. She likes you to move her around every minute or 2 into a different position then she's happy. She's also taken up cluster feeding in the evening but I don't mind cos she's been sleeping great. Last night she did 11:50pm-5:20am and the night before she did 11:00pm-6:20am!! Then she does another 3 hours after a feed.

Been to the Trafford centre today and had a wander round with DH while Joshua was at nursery. Got a couple if strappy tops and a cardigan with some Christmas money.

lizandlulu · 22/01/2014 21:38

Evening iwish, how are you? Shopping sounds fun! And wow she's sleeping great!!! Your getting more than me at the min! Violet keeps waking with a cough that she's had now since Christmas and can't seem to shake off. And when she wakes she either ont go back to sleep or wants to be in our bed in which case I don't go back to sleep anyway.
Plus Chris come back back from work with a puppy that he got of a friend that didn't stop whining all night. He kept getting up to see to it but just kept on! Bloody thing.

How are you choccy?

Iwish · 22/01/2014 21:53

Oh no poor Violet and poor you not having much sleep! Have the docs given her anything for her cough?
She does sleep well bless her, im waiting for her to change tho Lol.

Aaah what kind of puppy? Are you keeping it or just looking after it?

I'm good actually, a bit tired from having both kids pestering me lol.

Nick was laughing his head off at me this morning because my boobs were leaking when I came out of the shower. He thought it was hilarious!

lizandlulu · 23/01/2014 17:18

No I just give her cough stuff, she is so good at tsking medicine, good job really!

I don't know what kind of puppy it is, I am so mad st him for having it that I have not looked at it. I mean I have looked st it, but not fussed it at all. It's some kind of lurcher cross type dog.

Leaky boobs, what fun! Are they leaking much?

Helloooooo choccy, are ?ou lurking???

Choccywoccydodah · 24/01/2014 18:50

Sorry I'm here!! Been away to wales all week so haven't been on!! GrinGrin

Lol at the boobs Iwish and wow Lucy, what a good girl!!! Is Joshua still being good too?
Bet it was good to go shopping.

Oh no not another dog Chris has brought home!! Have you still got the other one? Poor violet with her cough :(

Good here. Had a great week, just what I needed too. Went with some friends that we met when we lived in wales and their little boy is a few months older that euan but was prem so about the same age.

Was so good to get away and have some fun and take my mind off the last few months.
Swimming every day, beach yesterday, and just generally enjoying ourselves!
Euan was good as gold too. Sleeping 12 hours straight, was so relieved he carried on there too!! He woke once the first and second night but went straight back off.
Third night our friends mum came to babysit both the boys in their lodge so we got Euan off before we walked down to them and he stayed asleep while we were gone GrinGrin Then stirred when we picked him back up and carried him back then straight off again.
Soooooo glad he's sleeping again!!

Feel so refreshed and ready for starting this house again!

Just had the quote for rebuilding our chimney stacks Shock Such a pain in the arse as it's money that'll never be seen as such, not like a new kitchen or something. But hopefully we can get it down a bit and start this flippin house properly!

Choccywoccydodah · 24/01/2014 18:52

And Liz, yay for going out and fair play to your mum!! GrinGrin

lizandlulu · 24/01/2014 20:40

I totally forgot about you going away choccy, sorry, glad you had a good time, sounds like you really made the most of it. And glad Euans sleeping good again, you must have worn him out!!

We are thinking about getting a air source heat pump. We are suing at least. £1500 a year in oil and costs a fortune all in a short space of time in the winter. An air source pump uses bit of electricity to get it going, but then takes the air, turns it into energy and runs the house. Mum and dads got one. But it's going to be about £8000 which is a lot in one go. But it wouldn't take long to pay for itself. So I think we are going to go ahead with it.

ANd re the dogs, yes I think he has 5 now. Yes he kept that other puppy, but once it started to chew things, he put it in the pen with the other dogs. Which is why I'm so mad at him for getting another, no need

Choccywoccydodah · 24/01/2014 21:17

Def go for the air source liz! We are hopefully having the air source too. Just waiting to see what the new green deal scheme is, as we need windows too and don't want to spend it all in one go if we don't have to. The current scheme is a sack of shite!

We currently have 2 boilers in the house. 1 that does the cellar and ground floor and one on the first floor which does the first and second floors. The one upstairs is brand new and in a cupboard which is fine, but the other in right in the middle of our kitchen wall!
Rob wants it moving so he's looked into this air source as our neighbour in Wales had it done (along with outside insulation and rendering all for fecking free cos he was a builder who put nothing through the books and claimed benefits!!)
The only thing is, the unit outside is massive so just pick carefully where you put it.
Def recommend it though. We used to have LPG which was so expensive hence he had it done. Oil is ridiculous too.
When we had the epc for this house they were spending over £3500 a year just on gas!! Since we've moved in, we've put room thermostats in and those number things on the radiators and we've dropped it to about £150 a month over winter! Bloody idiots didn't have a clue!

lizandlulu · 25/01/2014 08:53

Mums unit is quite big, we already have an oil tank with wall round that, with trellis on the top half, so we could put it there. Just depends on what the rules are about how far from or near the house it has to be, but the oil tank is only about 5 steps away.

I'm afraid I'm one of those stupid people. Our boiler is on all the time once the heating is on. Keeping it low. I've turned the heating down a little, just to try and save a few pounds. I know how to turn it up and down as we have a remote thing in the living room, but I know jack shit about this stuff. Ive had a plumber friend look at it to make sure it's running efficiently and I've got it set up ok. He did say its got quite a few leaks tho and not the best boiler. So may as well just get this air source one in and be done with it. It's going to use majority of my savings tho, I hate to be left short :'(
