What you up to Liz?

Not a lot here. We're trying to do our basement out. It's all dry etc but they plastered over the beautiful brick walls so we exposed the fireplace today (not got a chimney, I think it's more what the chimney in the lounge sits on above). It's got a lovely arch but they've painted it all white grrrrr!! So we want to strip it all back.
Now we're thinking we'd like to strip the whole room of the plasterboard too so currently on standstill until we decide whether we're going to get someone in to sandblast it back or if robs going to do it and get a kit. We do know someone (family friend, my mum was their mw for their daughter, robs known them for the same amount of time better than us though. 30+ years) who does it, we don't want to ask for a favour but I did say to rob it would be worth asking how much, it's a bloody messy job!!
We've also ripped up the carpet and there are blue engineering bricks under there, bloody lovely. Robs been trying to get cement off that they've put on some around the edges. It's going to look great, but long winded! But we only want to do it once, so better do it properly!

It's going to be a bar and lounge area mainly for movies and sports.

Bloody people who bought this house took all the character out of it, tossers!!

Well first week back to normal this week, school and work. Not been to bad.

We've had a new caravan today, not brand new, but new to us, swapped ours with a man who coems into work, his was too big for him and his wife, wanted something smaller, and I wanted theirs once I saw it, so we swapped. So lulu and Chris are in there sleeping for the night to test it out :)

So rob decided to do it, he's ripped the plasterboard off . Omg what a frikkin mess! Will look fab when it's done, and taking lots of piccies so we can look back to now!

Well, am 4 weeks today The nausea has kicked in today and I've had 2 crumpets all day, just feel ill and exactly the same as I did with Euan. Am starting to feel a bit if stretching too. My test was darker this morning so am pleased with that

Bought a new double bed today for the small servants quarters guest room. It's a sleigh type one, bloody lovely. Someone was selling it on one of the local things for sale sites on fb, they'd used it for guests so hardly used, will get a new mattress though. They only wanted £150+ ( bargain!!) so I offered £100 and they said yes The lady is moving so selling her whole house contents. Had some lovely chandeliers. Moves next Friday so may make a cheeky offer for them next week if she's still got them.
Robs just building the bed now. It's like a dark oak colour. Will have to dismantle it when we do the room up, but for now it's the only guest room with a bed as we're in one of the other guests rooms until our rooms done.

We're getting a sleigh bed for our room too, but I want a mahoosive one

And the caravan sounds fabulous!! We looked at some last year, it just gets you away doesn't it. Would love to just bugger off every weekend!!

All is ok here. A bit manic trying to juggle everything while still being quite sore but nick is off so helping.
Lucy is great, so cute and quite content most of the time. Last night she went to bed at 12, up at 3 and 6 then got up at 9 so am v lucky. Shes done that twice now, I would be happy if she continued lol.
Joshua has been so good with her, he kisses her all the time and when shes in her moses basket he goes up to her saying 'hello baby lucy', so sweet. He told me this morning to give her milk out of my boobie lol!!
Got the midwife coming tomorrow to weigh her etc.

Well, I'm 4 weeks liz, but officially only 2, so it was around in between Xmas and new year sometime . Bet there are loads of babies born in September due to Xmas lol!
Re nausea, it kicked in straight away with Euan, but I was never sick, just felt sick, but I've just got to keep eating I think as even though your feel sick, it's worse if you don't eat iykwim? Really praying this one sticks. Going to phone the dr this week I think as I want an early scan due to everything. Due 20th September, not sure if I mentioned

Yeh ive felt amazing with all that sleep. Ive been sleeping better than when I was pregnant!
Last night was good too, she went to sleep at 11:00, woke at 2:45 and 6:00 for a feed then woke around 10:00!! Joshua got us up at 8:15.

We have been out a couple of times but not far. Went to pc world to get myself a tablet and went to my aunties. Was going to go for a walk but didnt end up having time as we had visitors.

And the midwife came this morning and lucy has gone from 7lb 7oz to 7lb 12oz in 5 days! Go boobies haha

Ooh Joshua was born 18th September choc, you naughty person dog things like that over xmas haha. An early scan is a good idea, if anything it will put your mind at rest. Are you still taking something to help your lp?

Boring day here, Chris gone racing all day, mother in law came over, went out for lunch, back and lulu load on the sofa all afternoon, she's got a head cold and is like her father when she's Ill, so pathetic!, but it's awful, I would rather she be at her most naughty than to have her I'll.

Got kingsmill appointment tomorrow for violets chest. She's still taking the granules which do seem to be helping abit. Nice to go and see someone who actually seems to be listening and offering advise

Haha yes ive been for several poos! Of course im taking lactulose and fybergel all day tho lol. Couldnt bear to go if I actually had to have a proper poo

Euey didn't wake again today til after 7 . He's getting so much better.
No Iwish he doesn't get up at all now. He just says night night mummy and rolls over and that's it til morning. Been like that since around 10th December I think, feels so good that I know I can go to sleep and that's it til morning!! He woke the other morning last week at 5.30 as we had a friend here overnight but the last few days it's been later and later.
I know it sounds daft but he seems to sleep better when he's had a sleep in the day and around 4.30!! He doesn't normally sleep in the day now and didn't yesterday, but the day before I walked into town and he fell asleep in the buggy at 4.45 and woke at 5.30, had dinner and went to bed! He did 12 hours
Last night he did 11.5 too

Scan booked for 27th jan, so hoping we get that far.
Would've been earlier but we are away next week and don't get back til Friday and they're closed weekends.

All this talk of beds makes me want to move violet, or at least take the side off her cot. I really don't want to tho!!! Ohhhhhhhh what to dooooo!

I must say Liz if I had my chance again I would have left Euan in the cot until he started climbing out. It's been a long year!!
Violet is pretty good at sleeping thought isn't she? Would it disrupt her taking the side off? Or just put the side down if you can so she still has a barrier just not so high.
How was her appt today?

Evening, she's been discharged from the doctors. Said to keep giving her the granules while she still needs them, if she gets better in better westher to reduce them till she's off them, then give them again next winter if she needs them.

I don't know if it would disrupt her if I took the side off, I expect it would, I really don't want to have the whole trying to keep her in bed thing. I might just lower it and see what happens, that's a very good idea!

That's great she's been discharged.

Been spotting on and off since 12.45 ish, was a watery brown, then more pinky about 5, but seems to have eased off tonight. Was only when I wiped, not on my knickers. I have a scan booked for Friday before we go away. I'll be 4+6.
I was bleeding by this time last month and by tomorrow in November, so am really hoping this doesn't amount to anything. I don't think I could cope a third time. I had a good cry earlier, it's just shit.
Also I bled straight away last 2 times, no spotting.

Leave her in her cot liz if shes still happy there, I wouldnt have moved joshua if we didnt have Lucy. He gets out of bed now which isnt great so I end up putting him back in bed when hes asleep sometimes.

Yeh I bf joshua liz, I bf till he was 17 months old.finding it easier this time round and shes a quick feeder. Joshua used to take 30-40mins but Lucy takes 10mins!

Registered Lucy today so shes a real person now lol . Aand tomorrow joshua is in nursery so we have the day to chill out a bit and will take her to work to see my friends.

Just feel so empty. I've come off fb as (this isn't about you so pllllllleeeeeeease still talk to us about Lucy!!) everyone is getting pregnant or having babies, and I just don't want to see it at the moment. Like I said this DOES NOT INCLUDE YOU!!

I just wish we'd started earlier now. Gutted Euan is at nursery this morning, he gave me the most loveliest most sincere cuddle that only a child could give you this morning. Going to get him at 1.

Have the drs this aft so hopefully I'll start to get some tests and answers.

So, I've just been to the dr, and she was absolutely lovely.

Before I even got a word out I broke down into tears and she held my hand.
I explained that I'd had 3 early mcs in 3 months and she has sent me for blood tests tomorrow morning, results hopefully back by tomorrow afternoon/early Friday.

Also said to attend scan Friday even if I'm still bleeding.

My tests are now negative, so I know the 'baby' has gone.
The bloods are (on the form)
haematology:Fbc and esr.

clotting screen.
biochemistry: u&e, lft, gamma gt, bone profile, glucose, hba,c.
Thyroid.
Cholesterol.
Immunology:crp.

Other:lupus, Ana, antiphosphohpid.
If anyone knows what they are, feel free to shed light.
She said they'll do a progesterone test at 21 days. They're going to let the bloods come back first and see if there's any problem, if not I'll be referred to a specialist.

I asked her about my uterine lining and she said that would be a talk to the specialist thing, also asked about me taking baby aspirin and she said to keep taking it.
Also showed her that website Rockin and what the lady had been prescribed to get her babies, and she said again to talk to the specialist.

I'm so glad I have Euan here to cuddle up to
