We even added more liz! Tbh, they are going to let us know tomorrow with that, but we still think it'll be a no. We even went into the agent today as we are so gutted
Apparently they think it should go to the highest original bidder, even though reading between the lines we are about £6k ahead after our final offer today!

Oh, on a lighter note, I undressed Euan for his bath tonight, and I was sorting the bath out, turned around and he'd sat on his potty and had a wee! All on his own!! We've not done the potty for a few weeks now either, very proud

Good boy Euan!! Violet still hasn't done anything on the potty. She will sit of it happily and say wee wee, then get up and go pee on the floor, or in the bath. Or on the breakfast bar stool so it all pools around her! Such a delightful child.

Well we had the dreaded call last night and told we had lost out on the house despite our offer, from what we gather, being £8k above the others! Estate agency manager even rang them to tell them they were mad. No one can understand it, and was gutted, but can't sit here moping. It's gone and that's it

Anyway, i'm about to order some folic acid my god, I've forgotten everything to do with ttc, but that I remember!

Not a lot on here, except I bought all of Eueys cake stuff today, and will make it Sunday. That way if I fuck it up, I've still got Monday ha ha!

Going to take the kids out Sunday, both of us! Together! On a Sunday! Wow, wonders never cease!! Not slot planned tomorrow, going to take mum to dunelm mill tomorrow, treat myself to some new bath mats. God please old me back, the excitement is too much. Was ment to be going into town with some neighbours, but one of them isn't well so that's been cancelled.

No one can understand it tbh, we think it may be because they know our line of 'work' and maybe they thought we were buying to do up and rent or sell. Thing is we have to tell the agents what we do so they know we're a guarantee for mortgages etc, didn't think they'd tell the vendor though!
Going to see another one today on the opposite side of the road. It looks nicer from the outside, parking on the from and a double garage at the back, but all of the original stuff ie fireplaces have gone! It already has double glazing, gch and the cellar has been made into a room so that's a saving, but I'm not going enthusiastically ifkwim. We've lost 3 houses now, am getting a bit disheartened.

Loved house, needs a lot of work but more liveable than the other one. It had 3 floors and when you looked up from the hall of the ground floor all you could see was a staircase going around and around and right at the top it had a stained glass attic hatch which let light in from there being a skylight in the roof, bloody stunning.
Offer going in tomorrow (agent was the owner and said he was contactable for us to offer). Fingers crossed this time......

Mum and dads staircase is like that, if you stand at the top, you an see all the way down. Makes you feel dizzy!

Yes, very dizzy. We've decided the kids can have the too floor, as we will put in a bathroom above the ensuite and nick a bit of bedroom space.
It's rented at the moment hence the mess.
We are going to get rid of the back bathroom in the kitchen, and put in by fold doors so you can see into the garden, and make the kitchen a massive kitchen diner. Where there is a weird wall in the lounge at the back of the sofa, there used to be another hallway with an entrance from the side. We will rebuild the wall and put in a arched window (originally an arched door, lovely from the outside) and make it a downstairs loo/cloakroom. It's got the original tiles in the hallway, and should be under the carpet in the lounge in that bit. Hope we get it, got so many plans already!
The room with a 'fire escape' will be robs study, and the fire escape is actually an old wrought iron balcony which is lovely.
They've had no offers as yet as it's way overpriced. He's told us what the vendor may take so will start below that lol!

I must say it has a lot more potential than the other one, plus more ground and space. I like a lot!

All good here, have made Euans cake, put the butter icing on ready for rolled icing to go on but it's not set yet so will have to ice it later. Hope it is ok!
Need to check weather on Tuesday as want to book gullivers. I wanted to give him his presents tomorrow as we will be out all day and rob said no lol! Poor little fella will open them all then will probably have to leave straight after awwww

Yes very fed up of Thomas the tank lol. Got a very good bargain on Saturday off gumtree tho, got a Thomas the tank desk, classic DVD set which has 11 DVDs in, 3 books, 6 trains and a train set for £30!! Nick saw it and had to buy it lol. Went to toys r us yesterday and got him a scooter for his birthday. Not got him anything else yet tho.

My friend came round earlier this evening for a couple of hours who is having the twins, she's got a bump bigger than that already lol! She came round with presents for Euan

Finished his cake finally! Wanted to get it done tonight, but obviously my friend coming round put me back a bit which I didn't mind obviously. Just sat down, robs out so I got a chance to finish, very pleased. Piccies on FB.
I couldn't believe it earlier, rob went out to his parent with him so I could get on. They got home and within 2 mins he'd climbed in the chair and grabbed a chunk out of the wing and stuffed it in his mouth. It had taken me 4 attempts to put the bloody red icing on, and I'd been at it for 2.5 hours! I've bodged it, looks like it's been in a crash though lol!

We've got him his range rover car, that jcb set, a Henry Hoover and a massive tennis ball he just had to have the other day lol!
Mum and dad have got him loads of stuff, and they've got a scooter for him too. In laws have got a ride on tractor (fil worked for Massey ferguson for all but 3 years of his life), then he's got other things of other people that I don't know what they are.
Can't wait, he's going to frikkin love it!

Yes liz, same one, we were just at my mum and dads for the afternoon so they could give Euan his pressies and had a birthday tea for him. Rob was sorting it all on the phone and he came in and didn't say anything so I just thought he'd put in another offer and it was going backwards and forwards. I just said have you upped it again and he said, no we've got it, as cool as! I was in shock at first! Can't believe we've got it!!

And my god that bloody cake took me frikkin hours! Love it though x

Omg girls I'm in shock! I knew it was possible it could be a girl and I felt totally different than when I was pregnant with Joshua but I was shocked when she said girl!

We went in and she was taking all the measurements but was struggling to see the heart. I asked about the gender and she asked if we have any other children so I said a little boy. She said she thinks this is a little girl. I had to go for a walk to get baby to move around so she could try and see the heart again. So 20 mins later we went in and she finally got to see the heart and nick grilled her about the gender again. She showed us the girly bits and showed there was no willy and showed us the '3 lines' which apparently means girl.
We are so happy

Aww iwish, I'm so so pleased or you, I always wanted to have a son then a daughter, just as I was brought up, and older brother and a younger sister, you are so so lucky. I am actually jealous. Has it sunk in yet?

Thanks liz. No it's actually not sunk in yet. I feel like a weight has been lifted because I know the sex and can get organised but I keep thinking baby will come out with a willy lol. I'm going to book our 4d scan soon, prob for about 27 weeks so we can see for sure haha.
