Water boarding and Saving Private Ryan

So, the evening bottle is now akin to a waterboarding session and bedtime now resembles the beach scene from Saving Private Ryan.

We enter sleep regression with calmness, resolve and love in our hearts only to be treated to 2-3 hours of what I can only imagine the makers of snuff movies would call a masterpiece.

The early evening was quite educational with a rather long documentary about people driving around America in a van buying things from large Americans wearing dungarees and large beards. Had I have thought to move the sky remote closer before DD went into her lightest sleep to date I could have watched Tipping Point (my new daytime favourite).

Still, next time I won't forget I may even remember to turn off the bottle warmer. Hmm

So I sit here in the dark with dd, with about 5 minutes of my battery left and with the waning moon peeking into her room I catch a glance of her wide open eyes, and I mean wide Shock

Sleep regression, it's real, and its coming to a 3-4 month Old near you.

Brace yourself.
