Help 14 mo DD teething

DD2 is teething at the moment and she's dribbling a lot, chewing everything, refusing to eat and has a sore bottom although she has no temp. We didn't sleep all night and she's really really upset.

The teething gel didn't work so I gave her calpol last night but she's still the same

What should I do now?

You can give calpol and baby ibuprofen together, although its not recommended to do it as routine, just when really required. I was told to give calpol, wait 30 mins if it hadn't made any difference then to try the ibuprofen as well.

I've found as my DS has gotten older baby ibuprofen seems to help him more with teething (something to do with it being anti-inflammatory I think).

There's also teething powder (boots own are good, or ashton & parsons) which can be given alongside calpol and ibuprofen.

Thanks!

I'll give her ibuprofen before bedtime. I hope she sleeps better today.

With DD1 calpol used to work a treat.
