anyone want to own up to this review of TCLB on amazon? Grin

"If you need guidence from this book pick it up in the book store check out nap times and then put it back on the shelf. THat is the most useful part the rest of the book is a anxiety inducing guiltfest. Her babies never cry, sleep all night blah blah blah. its not real. I am sick of the whole baby instruction book business - no one tells me when to eat my toast!"

there's another review entitled 'BOOT CAMP' Grin

Pour me a double!! dd2 is so dependant so I have the older three trained to take care of her! (she is only 7 weeks) I can't be arsed to do it myself a fourth time. When can I expect her to learn to change her own bum? The scary thing is that the 'demented' little babies might be my needy little babies' spouses one day. Image their MIL's advice...

happybebe · 26/04/2006 17:57

lol cadmum you have to get your baby to be 'resigned' to do this constanly make the tot do the same thing over and over till it just starts to do it itself because it cant be arsed being made to do it anymore! thats what its all about! i would make a fab MIL Wink

Would it have a capital or lower case M?

How sad that my life is so dull.

I am off to read book reviews.

happybebe · 26/04/2006 18:53

Harpsichordcarrier · 26/04/2006 19:00

go on bundle
tell us all about it

tribpot · 26/04/2006 19:25

I was confused by the synopsis, I hope this doesn't appear on the back of the book. The line that says "Any woman who has ever doubted her capabilities as a mother will find comfort and reassurance in the insights of the woman whose books have been justly described a 'godsend'." might be interpreted as meaning any woman who has ever doubted GF's capabilities as a mother .. etc.

Since that is clearly not the intention, and if GF's lawyers are reading (hello!) they might like to reconsider the wording to avoid ambiguity.
