URGENT ADVICE NEEDED PLEASE ON CONFRONTING A PARENT!

last night my sons msn flashed up with a message off a girl (who'd hed befriended for a short while and then they argued and fell out and havent spoken since, hes 11, shes 12)

anyway she put a message up asking him to check his website he'd made and she'd accessed it and put disgusting obscenities under pics of his 18month bruv, saying things like "this is lukes brother and luke sucks his cock" etc etc. anyway my boy saw red and a huge nasty msn argument occurred. her calling him goofy, him calling her ginger minge etc etc.the words, cunt, bitch, queer, used throughout the chat and culminated in her threatening to beat him up, him threatening to kill her blah blah blah.

anyway i presume its the girls mother has just knocked, i was nappy changing so hung out of the window and saw a large lady storming off down the road. ive never met her before. her daughter is home taught because shes been kicked out of a few schools for bullying. now, i dont mind confrontation im basically not scared of women coz ive had so many abusive men in my life. BUT i dont know whether to sit and wait for her to knock again or go and confront her, only prob being i would have my toddler with me?

i knocked and she was out, so ive put a note in the door with my phone number saying who i am and asking her to ring me re:the msn lastnight......awaiting phone call, hope im not waiting all eveningnow ive read the messages again about what you all think of the website pics

I certainly used the f word when I was 11, seem to remember that it was cool to do so, ironic really consider I now hate to hear such language and never use it and am cringing at the thought of DS using it.

Re the pictures, tbh I think it's unlikely the police would do anything, firstly there's the matter of proving that she actually put up the captions, if, as you say, the web page was initially designed at her house, then it will be very hard to prove that she was responsible, and would be her word against yours.

i wouldnt go to the police but if the mother had phoned (which she hasnt) and started having a go i probly would have mentioned the police to shut her up. i thought she would have rung by now, im v.impatient! i want it over and done with so when kids in bed i can forget about it and relax

the mum just rang me and apologised, she hadnt known about the pictures. she admitted that her dd is a toughnut and very stubborn etc . what a relief i can relax now. thanks ladies for all your messages.x

Sorry you've been having this worry 7up, glad it had been resolved, I hate confrontations but sometimes I get so angry I literally can't help myself, I think you have handled this well it must have been really hard seeing those pictures x
