Fleece wraps - advice from the experts please

Am thinking of getting a couple of fleece wraps in the hope that they will be a bit less sweaty than the PUL ones for the summer. Does anyone have any pet theories/advice on the matter? Has anyone used the Stacinator range? Would love to hear your views...

fleece is good, but not during the day if your LO is going to be sitting a lot.
the pressure on them will force the wetness through

Fleece wraps are great for daytime in the summer, but not with clothes on top - treat them like funky shorts. They keep bums cooler and the moisture just evaporates. So probably great for on the beach or in the garden, but not for ages ie in a car seat. They're good for a warm summer night, but as the moisture wicks out, things may be a little damp the next morning.

haven't used Stacinator, I've got the Totsbots red wraps and printed ones and they're great. The new printed ones seem slimmer and wash better without bobbling so much as the older redwrap.

But Motherease airflow and the new Wee Notions wraps are the most breathable of the PUL ones IMO.

ds doesn't sit much! Unless T the T Engine is on of course.
McMudda - am using Airflow and Rikki but am wondering about one (or two!) fleece one(s) for, as you say, just bumbling funkily about in.

I'd also suggest checking www.stuffienappies.co.uk, they do a lovely fleece wrap which is abit thicker than Tots so less likely to wick.

If you are worried about sweatiness, why not try wool, they workeven better than fleece and you can get some really lovely wool wraps and shorts, DS have a day one with a dragon applicade (sic) on the bum Smile
