Hello, I have 2 children 10 and 8. My 8 year old has no problems but my 10 year old daughter is wetting her bed! I'm getting frustrated as doctors say it is normal and she will grow out of it. She has days when she has no problems but then she starts again! I don't know what to do anymore. Please advise. Many thanks.

Hi Jenny, My DS wet the bed until he was 10, we had gone through bladder training and all sorts. We bought an alarm via the internet in the end, it was about £20.It was a lead which clipped to the front of the PJ's connected to a very shrill alarm. He was dry in 2 weeks and has never had another accident.
Ask your GP for a referral to the Enuresis clinic, they have specialist nurses who are a great source of advice and support. Also google nocturnal enuresis there is a ton of advice on the interweb.
Best of luck it's hard supporting them emotionally isn't it.

Hi there, sorry to hear you are going through this. Have you spoken to your schools nurse? I know that ours have a lot of experience in enuresis and there are lots of strategies that they can advice you on. It may well be worth giving them a call. One of friends son was bed wetting until he was 8 and a few weeks into what therugrat suggested he was dry. Best of luck :)

Have you had a look at ERIC? Very helpful, loads of advice and information and resources.
