Hey Everyone,

I'm new to the site and love reading all your fantastic advice. So I put a question to you;

What product would make your life easier?

What do you think, A nappy bag that has room for a laptop or a birthday party kit that has everything you need.

Let me know

An instant blow up cheap babysitter.

A larger cupboard under the stairs.
Currently I can only fit two of the three DC in so if all three are naughty at the same time it makes things very difficult.

Sorry, forgot...

And perhaps super nanny full time

Tee2072 · 18/01/2013 16:35

Market research?
Journo?

Do tell...

Convert · 18/01/2013 16:35

Actually I have been trying to convince DH to get a mail order Thai bride.
I'm thinking she can do the cooking, cleaning and looking after the kids while I chill out in my jamas.

cravingcake · 18/01/2013 16:37

convert I have a very large cupboard under the stairs currently collecting years of junk that would easily fit three DC in... now just to find a lock to put on the outside

PartTimeModel · 18/01/2013 16:38

more sleep - can you buy that?
Cleaner & babysitter on tap - yes yes yes.

I guess it's actual physical help rather than any specific product. I fell for buying a few marketed parenting products when DD1 was a baby (didn't we all) - learnt that lesson quickly. None of it was really any use. Stick to the basics and save your ££ for future babysitters :)

cravingcake · 18/01/2013 16:38

Liking the Thai bride idea, she could sleep in the cupboard under the stairs once she's put the kids to bed obviously

Reaa · 18/01/2013 16:38

I'm changing mine-I want a mail order bride for DH too, she can cook, clean, deal with the kids etc

WildRumpus · 18/01/2013 16:39

Yup - put me on the waiting list for one of those blow up bsbysitters.. And another pair of arms. And more hours in the day. And while I'm waiting could I have a large glass of wine please?

cravingcake · 18/01/2013 16:41

Wine for WildRumpus courtesy of the blow up babysitter Grin

raininginbaltimore · 18/01/2013 16:42

A nanny.

I like the idea of a Thai bride too.

WildRumpus · 18/01/2013 16:44

Cheers! Grin

VisualiseAHorse · 18/01/2013 16:44

A garden. And a Thai Bride.

But, really, a garden for the dog and to hang out the washing. And for the baby to sit and play in.

Convert · 18/01/2013 16:46

Cravingcake I find a chair wedged under the handle works very well. Surely locking them in would be a bit cruel. Yes, I hadn't thought about where the mail order bride would sleep but now the cupboard seems like a great idea. Thanks, will run it past DH.

I am giggling imagining all these massive boxes containg the brides waiting when everyones DH gets in from work Grin

Convert · 18/01/2013 16:48

Hope these ideas are what you were after Richy

I know we are supposed to be boycotting Amazon, but where else can you get good mail order brides from? eBay? I'm not sure I want a second hand one.

VisualiseAHorse · 18/01/2013 16:51

I wouldn't want a 2nd hand one either Wild....maybe you could try Not On The Highstreet .com?

MrsEdinburgh · 18/01/2013 16:52

I would love a housekeeper & an instant blow up babysitter too.

ivykaty44 · 18/01/2013 16:52

another bride of any nationality to share the work with, one that fits in a laptop would be good - though may make the keys messy?
