hi. sorry for putting this post here but i didn't know where to put it.
ds1 is 2 and half years old and my ds2 needs his car seat so we have decided to get ds1 one of those bigger, space age (?) looking car seats for older kids. ds1 is tall for his age so will be fine in there as i think he weighs the right amount.
can anyone tell me which one is the safest? i don't mind how much it costs. i cannot find any conclusive research telling me which one is the safest.
on a trip tomorrow so need to get the thing today/tomorrow. so need some quick responses!!
yes, totally disorganised, sorry.
thanks!

There are 2 that i looked at for dd1 (who is 5. Is that the age range you're looking for? I mean as he is tall are you talking about older ones?)
If so, the top 2 in the Which report are the Maxi Cosi and the Concorde lift protect.
We bought the Maxi Cosi as it's softer and the head rests still allow her to nap on long journeys.

Will try to post the Which report. Am i allowed?

Think this is a bit jumbled but it's an independant report. As you'll see the two are still topSmile

\link{http://sub.which.net/ec/childseats/cs_pandp.jsp\hope} i don't get wrong for this!

Obviously i'm not allowed sorry!!

thank you everyone, i did not even manage to get online before i went to buy it but luckily i bought a concord lift evo which is listed below as one of the safest - excellent!

the seat has been good actually, my ds1 seemed comfy and it does have a tilt to it so he could sleep without being too upright.

thanks again for all your comments.
