Help with sleep problem!

DD was in a good pattern of napping in the day, feeding and dozing through the evening while we sat downstairs, then sleeping from 12-5.30 or 6am.

All this has gone recently with DD starting sleep at 7.30 or 8, exhausted, and sleeping through til 2.30am, then waking every hour or so restlessly until the 7am or so when we give in and get up.

What can I do to get my routine back? She is EBF on demand. Any advice appreciated I am extremely tired.

From memory I think there is a growth spurt stage around 16 weeks so she may be just starting that. I remember a couple of weeks of disruption to our sleep routine before it settled back to something manageable.

Sorry not much use, my DS is now 15 months old and its a bit hazy now. Hopefully someone will be have more information for you.

Xposted there. Agree that if she is near 4 months, it could be the 4 month sleep regression

You could try feeding her when you go to bed. I feed my dc3 at about 11pm and she pretty much stays asleep for it. She will then normally go through till 6.30am. She is also ebf and 13 weeks old.

How is it going now? If it helps, my ds is having a short nap of 40 mins around 7 or 7.30 which allows me to get dd to bed. Them cluster feeds until 9.30-10 and feeds at 4 and 7am.

Mine cluster feeds too on and off from 7-11pm. So perhaps your dd is missing her cluster feed. Maybe try and feed her a bit more before she conks out at 7.30 and add another feed at your bedtime. Let us know how it goes. I would love to end the cluster feeds and put dc3 down at 7.30pm but she has other ideas. Good luck and hope you get more sleep soon.
