Not sure what L and P are.. What is the exact qualification you are doing, and what unit are you on? I will be staying around for the next hour or so.

lifeisafunnyoldgame · 13/01/2013 17:42

I've done my CCLD, which has now changed over so may be able to help. Also try silkysteps.

insancerre · 13/01/2013 17:51

do you mean in each box for each standard?
we have an example and it has P+L in 1.1 and 2.2 for all 4 tasks but not in all the other boxes for each standard

KatyMac · 13/01/2013 17:55

Early Years Professional Status - it's level 7 (I think)

& it's not a unit it's recording the standards I've used

P is practise & L is leadership

Thanks for talking to me - I am panicking

lifeisafunnyoldgame · 13/01/2013 18:38

Ahh right can't help you I'm afraid, when I did mine, not level 7 though, I used silkysteps forum. It helped a lot. I'm here if u wish to talk and I will nod helpfully, but get over there quick!!

KatyMac · 13/01/2013 18:46

Thanks anyway - I like supportive nodding Grin

That's it I think insancerre; I'm out of my depth

I am so struggling with this

OP posts:
lifeisafunnyoldgame · 13/01/2013 23:10

Did you try silkysteps? X

KatyMac · 14/01/2013 17:21

It's finished - I handed it in

But it's crap

OP posts:
insancerre · 14/01/2013 17:50

well done
mine is due in on friday

KatyMac · 14/01/2013 17:52

Oh good luck - hope it goes better than mine

OP posts:
insancerre · 14/01/2013 17:55

I am still writing my tasks and I still haven't finished my document file
I am supposed to be writing them now
I am sure you have done fine
It's just a met or not met
When is your setting visit- I am sure you will cover lots of standards then

HSMM · 14/01/2013 18:06

Mine was due wed 16th, but I needed to get it out of the house, so I handed it in today.

KatyMac · 14/01/2013 18:12

She has rejected it as I haven't met the standards on the written tasks

I thought I could do 2 of them at the setting Sad

OP posts:
KatyMac · 14/01/2013 18:12

& I haven't written a timetable because she sent me one

OP posts:
fraktion · 14/01/2013 18:14

Has she given you any more advice? Can you resubmit?

KatyMac · 14/01/2013 18:17

Well I have written & submitted my tasks they don't contain 6 or 22

I intended to show these through my document file and my practise

I'd have to rewrite my tasks & I'd be hard pressed to "add in" those bits tbh

OP posts:
insancerre · 14/01/2013 18:21

are you working to the old standards or the new ones?

KatyMac · 14/01/2013 18:24

Old (I think)

OP posts:
KatyMac · 14/01/2013 18:44

May I just say aaaarrrgggghhhh?

OP posts:
insancerre · 14/01/2013 18:48

what's the worst that can happen?
you get a not met
then you decide whether you do the course again or walk away
you have a fantastic setting, you don't need EYPS

my advice would be to email your assesor or programme leader and talk through your options

KatyMac · 14/01/2013 18:50

She said "Please check that you sent me the right one and amend it as the assessment cannot proceed unless every standard on the grid is claimed as you know."

I think I'll give up
