8 week old asleep most of the day- is this normal?

My 8 week old baby is asleep for most of the day. Is this normal?

I remember posting exactly this! 2 of mine went through a major sleep phase at about this age. Must be growing or something! Wake feed sleep wake feed sleep etc. at the risk if sounding like everyone else - make the most of it! Won't last long and unlikely at this age to affect night sleeping.

They are all different but some babies do sleep most of the time they aren't feeding. Enjoy it! Soon he or she will be more alert and giving you a lot less peace and quiet! x

My 9 week old does too. At 8 week check doc said some babies are just sleepy
